Meet The Designer

Welcome! My name is Skylar Franklin. I’m an upcoming graduating student at The University of Arizona where I'm getting my Bachelors degree in graphic design. I love to work my skills specifically in branding, marketing, publications, and identity systems design. I knew I always wanted to be an artist since I was a child with constantly being fascinated with the beauty and creation it brings. I was introduced to design for the first time in high school when I took an advertising art class. I loved the way it drew me into solving challenging, visual problems, and conveying the right message in the most impactful way. My profession will forever be an evolving field and a constant challenge for me to grow not only as an artist, but who I am as a person. Design allows me to help and connect with people by establishing something valuable and important for them. Whether it’s a logo, a poster, or branding project, it gives me pride seeing something I created shape someone else’s realization or inspire them.
